The holiday season is here, and we’re excited to share some ways to celebrate in Ballantyne. View a lineup of festive events happening in our area this season by location.

The Ballantyne

Thanksgiving Brunch, November 22
Enjoy a bountiful Thanksgiving brunch at Gallery Restaurant on November 22, 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., with an array of seasonal salads, carving stations, decadent desserts and live music. Cost is $95 per person, $40 for children, ages 5-12, and complimentary for children ages 4 and under (pricing does not include tax or 24% service charge).

Inaugural Tree Lighting Ceremony, November 24
Join the hotel for its inaugural tree lighting on Saturday, November 24, 5-6:30 p.m., and enjoy caroling, hot chocolate, cider and cookies and a visit with Santa. The complimentary event is a way to thank the community for its support and commemorate a monumental year for the hotel on the heels of its inspiring redesign.

Holiday Afternoon Tea, Tuesday-Sunday in December
Experience a variety of seasonal tea blends by Rare Tea Company, a selection of savory tea sandwiches, traditional confectioneries, holiday treats and live entertainment at Holiday Afternoon Tea, Tuesday through Sunday, December 1-30, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. The cost is $58 for adults, $25 for children, ages 5-12, and $15 for children under 5 (plus tax & gratuity). Add Champagne for $10. Unwrapped, new toy donations are encouraged for Levine Children’s Hospital, A Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

Gingerbread Lane, December 6-26
View an enchanting display of gingerbread creations Thursday, December 6 through Wednesday, December 26. Gingerbread Lane is free to visit and open to the public. Attendees may vote on their favorite entries with $1 minimum donation per vote. All proceeds will benefit Levine Children’s Hospital, A Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, dedicated to caring for the physical and emotional needs of children and their families. Christmas Brunch, December 25
The hotel will offer Christmas Brunch on December 25, 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. The elaborate buffet will include a variety of salads, an assortment of cheese and seafood displays, breakfast items, an omelet station, carving station and sumptuous desserts. There will be live holiday music. Cost is $95 per person, $40 for children, ages 5-12, and complimentary for children ages 4 and under (pricing does not include tax or 24% service charge). Blakeney Shopping Center

Santa Arrival and Tree Lighting Ceremony, November 17
Kick off the holiday season at Blakeney’s annual Santa Arrival and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 17, 5:30-9 p.m. Santa Claus will be arriving in style, greeting children and stopping for photos at his new workshop following the official tree lighting ceremony, presented by Allen Tate Realtors. The evening will be full of holiday activities including arts and crafts, visits from holiday characters and music by The Matt Stratford Band. The Link 107.9 will be on-site providing the Christmas jams and jingles.

Santa’s Workshop, November 17-December 23
Santa’s Workshop, sponsored by Passionate Paws Animal Hospital, will officially open at the Santa Arrival and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 17. This year, Blakeney Shopping Center is debuting a brand new, custom-built workshop for the Santa Photo Experience located on the Village Green between bluemercury and K|LA Boutique. Stop by November 17 through December 23 for portraits with Santa Claus. View specific dates and times for Santa’s Workshop.

Ballantyne Village

Holiday Pop-up Market, November 10
Start your holiday shopping at Ballantyne Village’s Holiday Pop-up Market on Saturday, November 10, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Shop over 40 local vendors, and participate in specials, raffles and giveaways. View more details on the Facebook event.

Holiday Spectacular, December 8
Experience an afternoon of holiday fun at Ballantyne Village’s Holiday Spectacular on Saturday, December 8, noon – 3 p.m. 
Enjoy festive activities, including photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, holiday characters, train rides, arts and crafts, a bounce house, face painting, music and more. The first 500 kids receive a free goodie bag.

Breakfast with Santa, December 8
Before the Holiday Spectacular, join Blackfinn Ameripub – Ballantyne for Breakfast with Santa, December 8, 9 a.m. – noon. Families will enjoy breakfast and get their picture taken with Santa. Reservations are required.
