Register for the 2020 Tri It For Life Mentorship Program

More than triathlon training, Tri it for Life exists to support women on their journey to fitness, friendships and finding themselves. The 12-week program connects women with volunteer mentors, many who are returning athletes, to help new athletes learn all of the tips and tricks for competing in a triathlon.

As a participant in Tri it for Life, athletes will learn about bike use and maintenance, including proper use of gears, how to change a tire, clean a bike chain and more. Through transition clinics and mock triathlons, athletes will build confidence in their ability to get out of the pool, jump on a bike, ride nine miles, jump off of a bike and run two miles.

The South Charlotte chapter trains for the Ramblin’ Rose Charlotte Race during the spring, and meets weekly in parking lot behind the Hixon Building.

Interested in joining? Registration to become a 2020 athlete is open now through December 30.
