Scouting for Food Drive

Join the local Boy Scouts to collect food for our neighbors in need through the annual Scouting for Food drive. Our community can participate by dropping off non-perishable food items at the Ballantyne East Harris Teeter now through February 12.

Priority food needs include canned meat, fruit and pasta, corn muffin mix, powdered milk, cereal and 100% fruit juice.

All donations will be given to Loaves & Fishes, a local nonprofit organization that provides a week’s supply of nutritionally balanced groceries at no cost to individuals and families who are experiencing a crisis. Last year, the campaign provided a record 280,000 pounds of food to help feed the hungry in our city!
