The "Olustee" singers return to The Amp on Saturday, October 4, with special guest Samantha Fish. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
JJ Grey is a Southern soul-rock singer, songwriter and musician known for his deeply personal, vividly written songs that blend funk, rock, blues and front-porch soul. Since his 2001 debut, Blackwater, Grey has built a reputation for honest, heartfelt music inspired by his life and roots in Northern Florida. His latest album, Olustee – his tenth and first in nine years – is a self-produced work that explores themes such as redemption, hard luck and celebration, delivered with his signature gritty baritone.
