The Mural Ninjas, a collaborator with Charlotte is Creative, designed and installed a sidewalk mural located at the south entrance of Ballantyne's Backyard in March and April of 2023.

The design includes elements of the campus' natural greenspace and refreshed brand. The honeybees, birds and wildflowers depicted in the mural give guests a glimpse of the wildlife that call the park 'home.'
