Color the Park

Help us Color the Park!

The Ballantyne community is collecting school supplies and monetary donations now through August 1 to provide essential learning tools for local students in need through our 10th annual Color the Park School Supplies Drive benefiting Classroom Central. In honor of the campaign’s 10-year anniversary, we are providing several ways to give back. See how you can get involved!

1. Make a monetary donation with code “Color the Park Ballantyne.”
2. Donate essential school supplies in your building lobby.
3. Order lunch through Foodsby, and $1 of your delivery fee will be donated to the cause.
4. Take an Orangetheory Fitness class on July 24 class for just $10.
5. Come out and celebrate at the Ballantyne Social Hour on August 1!

All proceeds for Color the Park benefit Classroom Central, an organization that collects and distributes free school supplies so that students living in poverty can learn effectively. With more than 50% of our region’s students living in poverty, your donations play a major role in preparing children to be successful in the upcoming school year.

Physical donations can be dropped in the collection bins located in BCP building lobbies through noon on August 1. Contact your Community Director with questions, and please stay tuned for more details on how your team can support the cause!

YMCA Day Camp

Summer Fun for the Kids at the Morrison Family YMCA

Give your child an enriching experience while you’re at work this summer with day camp at the Morrison Family YMCA. Less than three miles away from Ballantyne Corporate Park, Morrison Family YMCA day camps provide all-day or half-day camps for children ages 2 years to 12th grade with themes like Cooking, Road Tripping, Mad Scientist, Magic and Tricks, Sports, Art, Splash and more.

Day camp at the Y is not only a great experience for kids, but it’s also easy for parents. YMCA camp staff safely transition children from morning to afternoon camps, and many camps offer a carline pick-up, meaning parents don’t even have to get out of the car.

Interested in registering your child for day camp at the Y? Get started by viewing day camp themes and times and by checking out last year’s summer fun on the Morrison Family YMCA’s Facebook.
