Ballantyne Guide: Outdoor Activities

Ballantyne makes it easy to swap screen time for fresh air, friendly competition and some fun. From fishing and biking to pickleball and farmers' markets, here are a few ways to get outside and make the most of your day.
fishing
Grab your fishing pole and head to one of Ballantyne’s catch-and-release ponds for a little quiet time between meetings.
Disc Golf
Take on Crash Course, Ballantyne’s 18-hole, par-3 disc golf course, and see who can master the course.
Greenway
With 20+ miles of walking paths and bike lanes, there are plenty of routes for a quick ride, lunchtime stroll or after-work adventure.
Everyday Games
Challenge your team to a game of pickleball, ping-pong or cornhole. Pickleball courts at the Hayes Building parking deck are available daily on a first-come, first-served basis, while ping-pong and cornhole spots are sprinkled throughout campus.
Trade the treadmill for the trees. The three-quarter-mile Fit Trail features 20 exercise stations for a quick workout that gets you moving and back to your day.
Lace up, meet up and get some miles in with the OMB Run Club. It’s a fun way to make your run a little more social and end your workout at OMB.
