The Amp will open its 2026 season with The Spring Mix, a funk/fusion/jazz festival, on Saturday, April 11, at 3 p.m. Artists include Cory Wong, Snarky Puppy, Victor Wooten & The Wooten Brothers, Sam Fribush Organ Trio, and Cosmic Collective.
Cory Wong is a Grammy-nominated guitarist, producer, variety show host and podcast host. In addition to his skyrocketing solo career, he is also a member of Vulfpeck and The Fearless Flyers. Cory has built a global following both on stage and online.
Snarky Puppy is a five-time Grammy Award-winning collective led by bassist Michael League, celebrated for its diverse array of influences that blend funk, R&B, soul, modern gospel, hard rock, new tech, fusion and jazz.
The Wooten Brothers are a legendary family band of musical innovators whose collective genius spans R&B, jazz, funk, classical and beyond, amassing 10 Grammy wins and 26 nominations.
Keyboardist Sam Fribush, on the frontlines of the Hammond organ revival, has emerged from Greensboro, NC as one of the Atlantic Coast's freshest young bandleaders and collaborators. The Sam Fribush Organ Trio blends funk, hip-hop and modern organ grooves.
Cosmic Collective is a transmuting ensemble of jazz musicians. The group's effervescent chemistry evolves from performance to performance contingent upon the accompanying star sidemen, making each show a truly unforgettable, unique and personal experience.
