Wegmans Ballantyne Opening October 14

Wegmans has officially announced the opening date for its first Charlotte location, arriving in Ballantyne on Wednesday, October 14, at 9 a.m.

Located at 11550 North Community House Road, the 110,000-square-foot supermarket will bring its signature mix of fresh foods, specialty offerings and exceptional service to South Charlotte.

A favorite in communities across the East Coast, Wegmans is known for making grocery shopping feel more like an experience, from chef-prepared meals and fresh sushi to artisan cheese, bakery favorites and an expansive produce department.

The new Ballantyne store will employ approximately 450 full- and part-time team members, with hiring still underway across several departments.
